Information about the club
Our club is a club with tradition in Cluj Napoca, affiliated to the Romanian Tennis Federation. It organises many tennis competitions for children and adults, among which a few long-standing ones are worth mentioning: “Trofeul Județului Cluj”, “Cupa Transilvaniei” and “Cupa Marc Tenis”.
Together with two other sports clubs we are founding members of the County Tennis Association. The club’s coaches successfully apply the “Tenis 10” training concept, of great interest among children up to the age of 10, who find the game on a smaller court with a lower net and bigger, softer, lighter balls far more interesting.
Together with the Romanian Tennis Federation and Tenis Partener we have also developed programmes to popularise tennis in schools: “Tenisul în Școala Mea” and “Născuți pentru Tenis”, through which we have tried to bring as many children as possible onto the tennis court and draw them towards playing it in an organised form.
The exercises practised follow the normal order of progress and pass through stages from learning, to consolidation, up to perfecting.
For players registered with our club there are preferential rates depending on the training programme and the frequency of the sessions.
Players not registered with our club who want a personalised training programme can also benefit from reduced rates depending on the agreed programme.
Each year our club organises three competitions for children and juniors, under the aegis of the Romanian Tennis Federation, two “Tenis 10” competitions for children under 10, and two competitions for amateur adults within “Tenis Partener”.
