DINO PARK
DINO PARK at the WONDERLAND resort aims to be a theme park where visitors of all ages can see and learn interesting facts about a variety of dinosaurs that populated the EARTH hundreds of millions of years ago, in the Triassic, Jurassic, Cretaceous geological periods.
Activity information
The over 25 dinosaurs on display in DINO PARK are among the most representative specimens scientifically attested, with reproductions based on anatomical features discovered by paleontologists over time.
Of the dinosaur replicas on display (static, but also many animatronic ones, making scary sounds), some of impressive size are listed:
DIPLODOCUS (over 12 m long), TYRANNOSAURUS REX (over 9 m), STYRACOSAURUS, BARYONYX, GALLIMIMUS, PLESIOSAURUS, CARNOSAURUS, ANKYLOSAURUS, DIMETRODON, STEGOSAURUS, DEINONYCHUS, PARASAUROLOPHUS, DILOPHOSAURUS, TRICERATOPS, AMARGASAURUS.
Not missing from this theme park is the replica of HATZEGOPTERYX – “The Fearful Flyer” (whose relics were discovered in the HATZEGOPTERYX region of ROMANIA in 1978) and who was at his time the biggest predator in the area of EUROPE.
In addition to these exhibits children can see or interact with replicas of: dinosaur eggs, skeletons to be dug up, a T-REX for riding or some mobile Dinobabies.
